Terms of Service

These terms cover the website at scalepath.in and the platform at scalepath.in/app. Using either means you accept them. Like the privacy policy, this is written to be read rather than survived.

ScalePath ("we", "us") is operated by Rootwave Labs Pvt Ltd, a company registered in India.

What ScalePath does

ScalePath helps you build a startup, starting from understanding your niche. The founder interview asks you about your venture and produces a written profile of it; the platform then gives you tools to develop that profile — a readiness score, a financial model, a deck, market and competitor work — and, where it fits, makes introductions to investors and partners.

Bringing something you already have — land, an EV charging site, a running business, a franchise — is a second way in. It works the same way: you describe it, we assess it, and it becomes discoverable to the right capital.

What ScalePath does not do

We do not guarantee investment. We prepare you and we make introductions. Nobody on the platform will promise you a cheque, and if anyone does, they are not speaking for us.

We are not your financial, legal, tax or investment adviser. The readiness score, the financial model and everything the AI drafts are working material to inform your own decisions, not professional advice. Get advice from someone qualified and accountable before you commit to anything that matters.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account or with a phone number verified by a one-time code. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.

One account per person. You must be 18 or over to use ScalePath.

The information you give us must be true. This matters more here than on an ordinary website: a profile is shown to investors and partners on the understanding that it describes something real. Inventing traction, revenue, ownership of a site, or an identity is grounds for us closing the account.

Your content

What you put into ScalePath stays yours. You keep ownership of your profile, your documents, your figures and everything else you upload.

You give us permission to store it, process it, and show it where you have asked us to — to generate the outputs you requested, and to share it with an investor or partner when you choose to. That permission exists so the service can function; it is not a transfer of ownership and we do not sell your content.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

Automated processing

Parts of the platform send what you have written to an AI model to produce drafts, summaries, suggestions and scores. Those outputs are drafts. They can be wrong, and you should check anything you intend to rely on or send to someone else. You decide what to accept, edit or throw away, and you remain responsible for what you publish from your profile.

Paid plans

Some features require a paid plan. Prices are shown before you pay, and payments are processed by Razorpay — your card and bank details never reach our servers.

A plan gives you access to features for the period you paid for. Because access is granted immediately, payments are generally non-refundable; if something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us and we will deal with it fairly rather than hide behind this paragraph.

We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Introductions, investors and partners

Access to the investor side is granted by our review, and never chosen at sign-up. We can grant it, decline it or withdraw it. Being approved is a statement about access to the platform, not an endorsement by us of anybody.

Anything that follows an introduction — diligence, terms, agreements, money — is between you and the other party. We are not a party to it, we do not act as a broker or an agent for either side, and we take no commission on it unless we have agreed that with you separately and in writing.

Acceptable use

Do not use ScalePath to break the law, to defraud anyone, or to raise money for something that does not exist. Do not upload malware, scrape the platform, attempt to reach accounts or data that are not yours, or probe the infrastructure for weaknesses without our written permission. Do not use it to harass anybody.

If you find a security problem, tell us at hello@scalepath.in rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports something in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

Availability

We work to keep the platform running, but we do not promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change features, and we may take it down for maintenance. If we discontinue something you paid for, we will refund the unused part of it.

Ending it

You can stop using ScalePath at any time and ask us to delete your account — the privacy policy explains what happens to your data when you do.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to. Except where something is urgent or unlawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Beyond that: we are not liable for investment you did not receive, for a deal that did not happen or went badly, for decisions you took on the strength of an AI-generated draft, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the platform after that means the new version applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
